The Mossberg 590M Mag-Fed Professional Series provides agencies with a durable, versatile pump-action tool built around the first production double-stacked detachable magazine made for a pump shotgun.

Mossberg's 590M Mag-Fed design uses integral stabilizing ribs on the magazine that engage directly with notches machined into the receiver for a positive lock-up, eliminating the need to feed shells individually into a tube and dramatically speeding up reloads. Guns earning the Professional Series designation undergo an enhanced assembly and quality-control process with special finishes and features optimized for performance — this Compact model wears black synthetic furniture with a Cerakote protective finish on the barrel, receiver, and magazine.
