ASSAULT II VP
A modern take on the widely known Assault line of shields, the Assault II VP integrates lightweight level III protection with a triangular ballistic viewport capable of stopping 7.62 x 51mm, 147 gr. M80 FMJ (NATO) rounds. The Assault II VP is ideal for tactical teams and patrol use coming in at just 20 lbs. and a compact 16”x30” build. This combination of visibility and lightweight rifle protection elevates the Safariland Level III shield portfolio. Crafted from a polyethylene composite to provide a high-quality look & feel, the Assault II VP provides the needed vertical visibility when approaching dangerous situations. NIJ 0108.01 compliant, the Assault II VP is also capable of stopping five impacts of the 5.56 x 45mm M193 and 7.62 x 39mm MSC special threat rounds.
